What’s real story Lawrence? What a week it has been for former NFL Great Lawrence Taylor. Taylor is facing a third degree rape charge involving an incident with an underage girl. Taylor has changed his story three times. At first, he didn’t know the girl. Then he said he paid $300 and had sex with the girl, but didn’t know she was underage. Now he says he did not have sex with the girl, but he did pleasure himself. The girl in question is now in foster care. She says she was brought to a hotel room by her pimp who beat her and told her she had to have sex with Taylor. She says she told Taylor she was 19 years old. She also says during their time together, the condom got stuck inside her said she told him she hopes she doesn’t get pregnant. He allegedly told her don’t worry about it because he was fixed. The teen says she doesn’t want to ruin Taylor’s reputation. The fallout happened immediately for the 51-year old former NFL great. Taylor was recently dropped by Nutrisystem, and now he faces a prison term. During his heyday, he was one of the most feared linebackers in the NFL. Just a couple of seasons ago, he was a popular contestant on Dancing With The Stars. One person sticking by his side is his wife Lynette. Lynette says she believes her husband, and despite his past reputation with drugs and trouble with the law, the man she loves is not the man who would rape a teenager.


When will Alicia Keys reveal the truth? Keys is pregnant, and she is planning a summer wedding to longtime boyfriend Producer Swizz Beatz. Beatz just got a divorce from his wife, Singer Mashonda, and they have a young daughter.


What’s up with Mariah Carey? She has been spotted at a well known fertility clinic. Her recent weight gain may be attributed to her visits.


When will Siohvaughn Wade just let go? The soon to be ex-wife of NBA Star Dwayne Wade was arrested earlier this week for failing to show up to court regarding her divorce. Siohvaughn is out of jail on $10,000 bond. A judge ordered her arrest for ignoring court orders. Siohvaughn says her lawyer was in a car accident, and she thought the hearing was going to be postponed. Siohvaughn was dumped by her husband shortly after the birth of her second child. Dwayne Wade moved on to start a relationship with Actress Gabrielle Union. Last week, Union was dragged into the mess when she was hit by a lawsuit claiming that she was having relations with Dwayne in front of his kids. This has to be one of the messiest divorces in years. Siohvaughn, just get the money! If he doesn’t want you, move on! He has money. Get it and move on! Who wants to be with a man who doesn’t want you? Her antics are going to cost her custody of her two kids with Wade.


Eddie Murphy and his ex-girlfriend/baby momma Mel B are coming together for the sake of their young daughter. It was careful planning by Murphy’s ex-wife Nicole that got Eddie and Mel B to put aside their differences and animosity, so they can raise their daughter Angel Iris. Murphy and Mel B came together to celebrate their daughter’s third birthday with a party held at Murphy’s home. Murphy’s ex-wife Nicole, who is getting married to former NFL Star Michael Strahan, says she wants all the kids to get along. Nicole has five kids by Murphy.


What’s up with Usher’s girlfriend Grace Miguel? Usher’s ex-wife Tameka is upset about his latest relationship. Apparently, Miguel used to be close friends with Tameka, and now Miguel has got Tameka’s man. Tameka is livid. She left her husband and three kids to be with Usher. She had two kids by Usher and almost died having plastic surgery to please him, but it wasn’t enough to save her marriage. Miguel has quite a past. The former record executive lost a ton of weight, remade herself, left her husband and now she’s with Usher. Usher knows how to make a woman leave her husband. Hmmmmmmmmmm! Usher’s ex-wife isn’t the only person upset with him. Producer Jermaine Dupri feels Usher disrespected him by not including him on his latest project. Jermaine feels he gave Usher his greatest musical success with the Confessions album, and Usher won’t admit it.


What’s the problem with American Idol? In a recent poll, producers are asking, Where Did We Go Wrong? Was it replacing Paula Abdul with Ellen DeGeneres? Are there too many judges? Was the talent lacking this year? The ratings for the popular show are slipping. And, with Simon Cowell leaving at the end of the season, what will be the future of the show?


The Legendary Lena Horne passed away this week at the age of 92. The award-winning actress and singer was the first African American to sign contracts with a major record label and a major movie studio. Horne was a staunch civil rights activists and life-long NAACP member. She refused to perform for segregated troops during World War II, and sued restaurants for racial discrimination. Throughout her seven decade career, her films included Cabin In The Sky and The Wiz and her songs included The Lady Is A Tramp and Stormy Weather. She won Grammys and a Tony for her comeback one-woman show on Broadway in the 1980’s called Lena: The Lady And Her Music. Horne was known as the original diva, and her legacy will continue to shine.


Maxwell says he can’t wait to hit the road with Jill Scott. He says it’s a dream come true. In a recent interview, he also revealed that he is going to have new music, a new album released by next February. Now speaking of new music, Kem is back with a hot song called Why Would You Stay.


Terrence Howard is going to play Nelson Mandela in the movie Winnie. The bio-pic is about Mandela’s ex-wife Winnie Mandela. Jennifer Hudson is playing Winnie. Filming starts next month.


Dr. Conrad Murray has a June 14th court date. It’s been almost a year since the death of Michael Jackson, and Dr. Murray has been charged with manslaughter in Jackson’s death. Dr. Murray says he’s innocent, and he will have a cast of supporters by his side when he shows up in court. Friends, patients and church members from Houston and Las Vegas will converge on the courtroom in support of the doctor. Dr. Murray was The King Of Pop’s personal physician at the time of his death. It is believed that he administered the fatal dose of Propofol that led to Jackson’s death.


Taraji P. Henson is the cover girl for the latest issue of Essence magazine. Toni Braxton covers Jet. Mike Tyson says he’s broke. In his heyday, Tyson had millions. He says he lost his money due to excessive spending and having a lot of fun. Tyson says he now lives paycheck to paycheck with his wife Lakiha Spicer and their 16-month old daughter.


Remember the Actor Taimak from the 80’s classic movie The Last Dragon? Well, he was recently arrested for getting into an altercation with his girlfriend. He was released on bond and then the charges were eventually dropped by the girlfriend.


Actor Blair Underwood is coming back to TV. Underwood has joined the cast the new NBC series The Event. The show stars Jason Ritter, the son of the late Actor John Ritter and grandson of the late cowboy movie Actor Tex Ritter.

LisaRaye has a hit on her hands with the TV One reality show The Real McCoy, there will be a second season of the show and now she has signed a deal for her own show on VH1. LisaRaye will be starring in the VH1 series Single Ladies along with Stacey Dash and Lauren London. Queen Latifah is writing the script. No word on when the show will hit the air.

Gabby Sidebe’s mom, Alice Tan Ridley, is rumored to be the breakout star of the new season of America’s Got Talent. Ridley is a subway singer who wowed the judges at the America’s Got Talent audition. The new season, with Host Nick Cannon, kicks off June 1st. In other Gabby news, has she turned into a mean girl? A Washington Post reporter wrote about an incident he had with the Precious star, and he said she was not nice at all. Maybe Gabby was having a rough day. Let’s hope she stays grounded.

The Sex And The City movie opens in theatres May 27th. Yes, Carrie and the girls are back! Will Carrie cheat on “Mr. Big?” That’s the big question in this sequel. The movie soundtrack comes out on May 25th and features music from Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson and Erykah Badu.


The VH1 Hip Hop Honors is set for June 7th. This year’s honorees include Producer Jermaine Dupri, Rapper Master P and “Uncle Luke” himself, Luther Campbell.


Will Smith is returning to the Men In Black franchise, this time in 3-D. The new movie will also reunite him with co-star Tommy Lee Jones and hits theatres May 2011.


Actress Victoria Rowell is back with her latest book Secrets Of A Soap Opera Diva. Rowell is best known for her work on the soap opera The Young And The Restless, where she played “Drucilla.” Will she ever return to the legendary number one daytime show? So far, producers have expressed no interest in bringing back Rowell, but a casting call recently went out for an African American woman to play a character loosely based on “Drucilla.”


The Steve Harvey Radio Show is coming to TV. The BET network will be airing The Steve Harvey Radio Show on their Centric network starting this fall. Also, get ready for the return of the TV show The Game. The cancelled CW comedy is being revived on the Bet network with the original cast.


Trey Songz and Monica are gearing up for a summer tour. Songz also has a new reality show debuting on BET on June 27th.


The Queen Of Soul Aretha Franklin and The King Of Pop Michael Jackson are going to be the new inductees into the Apollo Theatre Hall Of Fame. The ceremony takes place June 14th. Past inductees include Patti LaBelle, Quincy Jones and Ella Fitzgerald. Jennifer Lopez and her hubby Marc Anthony are also going to be honored that night with a humanitarian award.


At the movies this week, it’s Queen Latifah, Common, Paula Patton and Pam Grier in the movie Just Wright. Philadelphia Native Mike Elliott directs the comedy about finding love when you least expect it.


It will be the reunion of Run DMC at the 3rd Annual Roots Picnic. The event is happening June 5th at Penns Landing. This will be their first performance since the death of Jam Master Jay, who was murdered in 2002.


The new version of the Karate Kid hits theatres on June 11th with Jaden Smith, Taraji P. Henson and Jackie Chan.


The 7th Annual West Oak Lane Jazz And Arts Festival is going to an all-jazz theme this year. Mark your calendar for June 18th -20th.
