Actress Stacey Dash has confirmed she’ll no longer be on the hit VH1 drama Single Ladies. I told you a while ago she wouldn’t be returning, and that her exit was surrounded by controversy and backstage problems. Talk on the set was Dash was feuding with Co-star LisaRaye, (LisaRaye denied that) and that Dash shows up late for shooting and wouldn’t know her lines. The Queen Latifah produced show has been a surprise hit for the cable network. So why leave? Dash issued a statement that while she enjoyed her role, shooting in Atlanta makes it impossible to be with her children in Los Angeles. She wishes the show well. Hmmmmmmmmmmm!

A big congrats to Beyonce and Jay-Z. The first time parents are overjoyed about the new bundle of joy due next March. Everyone wondered when Beyonce would put her career on hold for motherhood. This pregnancy was not planned, and no fertility treatments were used. Beyonce was scheduled to start work on the Clint Eastwood movie A Star Is Born, but those plans have been put on hold. The Carters are on top of the world about becoming parents.

The CBS network is making major changes with their daytime show The Talk with new additions Kris Jenner (the Kardashian mom/manager) and Comedienne Sheryl Underwood. They are replacing Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete. Sharon Osborne is only returning on a limited basis. What the heck is going on? Why would they dump Holly Robinson Peete? She brought class and intelligence to this show, which is basically a rip off of The View. In a carefully worded statement, CBS just said her contract was not renewed. Holly was told to clean out her dressing room, but she’s still under contract. That’s keeping her from getting other work. There have been reports of clashes on the set. The leader of the show, Moderator Julie Chen, is married to CBS Boss Les Moonves. Word has it Chen didn’t want anyone talking about news events except her. There were also problems with Remini bringing family members to work everyday. I am so disappointed in their decision to replace Holly. I hope CBS clears up this mess so she can land another gig soon.

Bishop Eddie Long’s accusers are writing a book about their experiences with him. Spencer LeGrande, 23, and Jamal Parris, 24, are going to write a tell-all about their relationship with Long, and how their lives will never be the same after their abuse. Long’s accusers, five in total, all received a settlement for a $25 million payout. Apparently, the money, which is to be spread out over 20 years, is not enough for the guys, and now they are looking for more money.

Frank Dileo, Michael Jackson’s former manager, passed away last week. Dileo was VP of promotions for Epic Records when he oversaw the record-breaking success of Jackson’s Thriller album. Dileo then became Jackson’s manager in 1984 for five years. They had a falling out, but Jacksonrehired Dileo in 2009 to prepare for the This Is It tour. Jackson died before the tour could happen. Dileo was 63 and died of complications from heart surgery.
